The Central Bank has increased the discount rate
Azerbaijan Board of Directors of the Central Bank (CBA) of the accounting rate 0.25 by increasing the percentage point 8 from % 8.25 made a decision to raise it to %.

“The decision to narrow the width of the interest rate corridor was made in August of this year in accordance with the preliminary announcements regarding the introduction of the new operating framework of the monetary policy. At the same time, this decision is based on actual indicators and updated macroeconomic forecasts,” CBA said.
