The game for the 3rd place was held on December 17 in the world championship organized in Qatar.

The teams of Croatia and Morocco faced each other in the match for the bronze medal. Qatari FIFA referee Abdulrahman Al-Jassim directed the match held at Khalifa Stadium. The match, which started at 19:00, ended with a 2:1 victory of the Croatians.

Thanks to the victory, the Croatian national team became third in the world championship for the second time. They won the title for the first time in the WC-1998 by defeating the Netherlands with a score of 2:1.

Morocco fought for bronze medals at the World Cup for the first time in its history.

Argentina and the World Cup on December 18 France will be concluded with the final match between the teams.
