Budget 2023 approved – What’s in it? |

President Ilham Aliyev National “2023” adopted by the Assembly on December 9 state budget on” approved the law.

Next year, budget revenues will be 30,774 million manats, and expenses will be 33,353.3 million manats.

These are 5.4% and 3.25% higher than the approved 2021 forecasts, respectively.

As a result, the budget will have a deficit of 2,579.3 million manats, which means a 17% decrease compared to the year.

30,017 million manats of budget revenues are centralized and 757 million manats are local revenues, and 32,584 million manats of budget expenditures are centralized and 769.3 million manats are local costs.

In general, the cost directions are:

economic activity – 6 billion 891.2 million manats;

defense and national security – 5 billion 331.2 million manats;

education – 4 billion 423.1 million manats;

social defense and social guarantee – 4 billion 415.9 million manats;

general public services – 3 billion 808.2 million manats;

court government, law enforcement and prosecution – 2 billion 762.9 million manats;

health care – 1 billion 906.4 million manats;

village economy – 1 billion 202.1 million manats;

culture, art, informationphysical education, youth policy and other similar activities – 561.7 million manats;

environmental protection – 371.5 million manats;

housing and utilities – 350.6 million manats;

expenses not related to the main sections – 1 billion 328.4 million manats.
