In Tehran, the capital of Iran, it was reported that the commander of the Revolutionary Guards Army (DMO) died as a result of an armed attack in front of his house.

Iran’s semi-official Persian News According to the agency’s information, an officer named Kasim Fethullahi, serving in the Mohammad Rasulullah Corps of DMO in Tehran, was attacked with a firearm.

Fethullahi, who was hit by 4 bullets in the attack carried out in front of his house in the south of the capital, died.

Describing the incident as a “terrorist attack”, the report stated that Fethullahi is also one of the commanders of the Besic militia unit affiliated with the DMO.

On the other hand, Tehran Police Information Center chiefcolonel Ali Sabahi announced that the investigation into the attack is ongoing and detailed information will be provided later. (AA)
