Chinese companies followed that country closely… ‘Gold attack!’ They lined up

Director of Mining and Petroleum Department of Afghanistan’s Ghazni Province, Maulawi Hazrat Yusuf, said that two Chinese companies are eager to manage lithium and gold mines in the province.

Taliban news according to the agency, Yusuf evaluated the mining areas in the whole province.

Stating that 25 mines are currently active in production in the province, Yusuf pointed out that 18 new mining areas containing marble, sulfur, coal and various precious stones have been identified in the last year.

Yusuf said that two Chinese companies have made proposals for the exploitation of lithium mines in Navur district and gold mines in Mukur district.

Yusuf said that if these investments are realized, they will greatly contribute to the economy of the province.

Metal deposits such as copper, gold, uranium, bauxite, iron ore, chrome, lead, zinc, coal, soapstone, cottonstone, gypsum, sulfur, and marble are available in Afghanistan.

In addition, Afghanistan has some of the world’s richest reserves of lithium and other rare metals, but the country’s prolonged conflict environment has negatively affected many of the country’s economic sectors and prevented mining development.

The Taliban administration invites foreign companies to invest in these areas in order to overcome the economic crisis in the country, China and Russia companies stand out as the most willing investors to operate mines in the country.

Finally, on January 5, a 25-year contract was signed between the Taliban interim government and China’s CAPEIC for exploration and oil production around the Amu River in northern Afghanistan.

At the signing ceremony of the agreement, the Deputy Minister of Mines and Oil of the Taliban administration, Shahabaddin Dilawar, and China’s Kabul ambassador Wang Yu stated that this step will strengthen Afghanistan’s economy and relations between the two countries. .

On the other hand, the Taliban leadership wants to turn the Wuhan Corridor, which opens to China through Badakhshan province in the north, into an active trade route and expects support from the Chinese government for this. (AA)
