“The core of the house has collapsed, and we live every day and moment in a vacuum. Wherever we turn, they say it’s not us.”
Lerikin Zuvuch to Meydan TV village resident Tural Hasanli says. The complainant claims that the house they live in has fallen into disrepair as a result of landslides that have occurred in the village for several years. However, the relevant institutions did not consider the remedy. A few years ago, when I inspected the houses in the village, their house was “forgotten”.
“Blind, see, see, our house is collapsing”
The complainant says that they have been waiting for representatives of the relevant institutions for many years:
“There were many such houses in the village. They took care of everything. That’s the only way they treat us. However, ours is the closest house to the area called the valley, where the landslide has become active recently. Blindly, blindly, seeingly, our house is collapsing, the foundations are shaking, the walls are falling apart. Except for us, everyone’s house in the village has been renovated and even new houses have been built and distributed. They just ignore us. It has been the 6th year that we are applying to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources. We took photos and videos of the house and sent them. After all, we are citizens, where do we go when our lives are in danger, we have nowhere to go, there is no one to come and search for the lost”.
“The house fell into disrepair not because of a landslide, but because of old age”
Lerik District Execution Meydan TV was told by the authorities that the Hasanli family in Zuvuj applied to the institution many times. Even the management of the institution visited that house:
“Three years ago, the first deputy head Jalil Bakhshiyev was there. The institution also appealed to the Ministry of Emergency Situations. because execution the government does not build or repair houses, it has no such duty or authority. The Ministry of Emergency Situations deals with these cases. He also works only if the building belonging to the citizen is destroyed as a result of a natural disaster. However, we were informed by the Ministry of Emergency Situations that the house was inspected. The fact that the house is in a state of disrepair has nothing to do with the landslide. It is an old house, in this case, the citizen must repair the house himself. If that citizen appeals to us a hundred times, if our representative goes to that house a hundred times, the answer will be the same, we are not a house-building institution, it is not within our authority, and we are not allocated a budget for that.”
Lawyer: “Expertise should be conducted”
Tural Hasanli disagrees. He says that although the house dates back to the Soviet era, the cause of the accident was the intensifying landslide around the house:

Lawyer Candidate Safarov says, with the citizen execution if such a difference of opinion has arisen between the bodies, the citizen must apply to the court:
“Court must appoint an expert, the cause of the house falling into a state of emergency must be determined based on the opinion of the expert. After this court obligations must be imposed on the defendant”.
