UK’s National Grid asks for coal generators to heat as backup |

LONDON, 26 january (Reuters) – The United Kingdom National Grid ( NG.L ) asked coal-fired power plants on Thursday to warm up as a backup option for power generation as cold weather is expected to boost demand.
