LONDON, Feb 13 (Reuters) – Indian director Shaunak Sen knew there was something special when he made the BAFTA and Oscar-nominated documentary All That Breathes, but the 35-year-old director said it “fell short of scale.” about the recognition it has received.

“I was sitting in my car during a traffic jam and I remember looking up and it’s a gray sky with these black dots of birds, the classic picture postcard of Delhi. And I had the distinct impression of seeing one of those birds fall. ” he said.

“So I hope (the film) is a philosophical take on climate change, on ecology.”
