BEIJING, Feb 22 (Reuters) – Foxconn Chairman Liu Young-way met with the party chief of China’s Henan province, home of the company’s iPhone factory that was hit by the COVID-19 outbreak late last year, the provincial government said on Wednesday.

Liu, who left for a four-day inspection of the plant in the provincial capital Zhengzhou on Tuesday, met with Henan Province Communist Party Chairman Lou Yangsheng and provincial governor Wang Kai.

Henan has pledged broad support to businesses and expressed hope that Foxconn will continue to expand in the province.
