LONDON, February 24 (Reuters) – Britain of Ukraine marked the one-year anniversary of its invasion by imposing more sanctions on Russia, including bans on the export of every item it uses on the battlefield.
Internationally coordinated sanctions and trade measures will target aircraft parts, radio equipment and electronic components, the Foreign Ministry said on Friday.
It also included more Russian executives, including those at the Rosatom NPP and defense groups and Russia will target those working in banks.
“Military Intelligence has shown that as a result of the sanctions, the lack of components in Russia is already affecting their armored vehicles, attack helicopters and weather affects the ability to produce equipment for export, such as anti-attack systems,” the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.
The leaders of the “Seven” group on Friday Ukraine President Vladimir Zelensky will have a virtual meeting with them, where they are expected to discuss additional sanctions against Russia.
