PARIS, March 4 (Reuters) – Fashion label Vivienne Westwood paid tribute to its late founder by taking to the catwalk in Paris on Saturday with a collection designed by her husband and design partner Andreas Kronthaler.

Models walked the gilded halls of the Hotel de la Marine overlooking the Place de la Concorde in a chic, punk-style lineup for the Paris Fashion Week show.

Tailored coats that played with skin had thick shoulders and wide sleeves, while the lines on the tracksuit bottoms curved inward rather than running straight down the leg.

In the background AC/DC mixed a floral patchwork piece with a wide hooded hat thrown over a slim, flared skirt and accessorized with towering platform heels as a raucous rendition of rock band TNT played.

Closing the show was a traditional bridal gown, with Kronthaler Westwood’s granddaughter Cora Corre wearing an ivory, lace bodysuit and matching platform boots.
