AMSTERDAM, March 13 (Reuters) – International A crime Court (ICC) against Russian persons “in the short term” in connection with the conflict in Ukraine imprisonment is expected to seek warrants.

The source, speaking on condition of anonymity, said that the ICC prosecutor is expected to ask the preliminary investigation judge to approve the issuance of warrants against several Russians in connection with the abduction of children from Ukraine to Russia and the targeting of civilian infrastructure in Ukraine.

It was unclear which Russian individuals the ICC would seek warrants for or exactly when.

The prosecutor’s office of the ICC refused to comment.

He has emphasized during his three visits to Ukraine that he is looking into alleged crimes against children and the targeting of civilian infrastructure.
