March 16 (Reuters) – The White House national Security Adviser Jake Sullivan discussed the importance of investing in Northern Ireland in separate meetings with the leader of the Democratic Unionist Party and the leader and vice-president of Sinn Fein on Thursday.

“Mr Sullivan and all party leaders discussed the importance of investing in Northern Ireland’s vast economic potential and ensuring prosperity for all communities,” the White House read.

Britain legislators of the government next week European Union will vote on whether to back a central element of the latest deal it signed with Northern Ireland to reform its post-Brexit trade rules.
