Russian private mercenary company Wagner has placed ads on Pornhub, the world’s largest pornographic website. The company recruits fighters for the Kremlin’s war in Ukraine.
Those who visit this porn site from Russia without a VPN or ad-blocking software are confronted with Wagner’s video. The company urges them to join Wagner rather than watch pornography.
The profanity-laden text says that Wagner is recruiting mercenaries “from all regions of Russia.”
At one point in the ad, a woman plays with candy in her mouth, while a female voice says in the background that Wagner is “the damnedest private army in the world.”
Co-founder and owner of Wagner Yevgeny Prigogine Confirm that an ad has been placed on the Pornhub website.
“Advertising on porn websites is a good idea from our marketing experts. I completely agree with them. The ad says: Go, Wagner private military fight in his army, stop masturbating. Does anyone disagree with that?” – Prigozhin says in a statement posted on Telegram.
