HONG KONG, March 22 (Reuters) – Chinese technology giant Baidu’s ( 9888.HK ) smart car business Apollo won approval on Wednesday to be among the first companies to test fully autonomous vehicles in China’s largest city, Shanghai.

The company currently provides driverless robotaxi services in designated areas of Wuhan, Chongqing and Beijing.
