KAM: The eleventh meeting of the “Ramstein format” discussed the new military support of the countries to Ukraine

Already at the 11th meeting of the so-called donor states, the course of the Russian war in Ukraine was discussed, the countries presented new aid shipments and military industry projects intended to support Ukraine, the report states.

“Russia has no moral boundaries. Russian soldiers treat Ukrainian prisoners like terrorists. “Difficult battles for Ukraine continue, so our support for the Ukrainians must also continue,” said A. Anušauskas at the “Ramstein format” meeting.

The amount of military support transferred to the Ministry of Defense to Ukraine amounts to 454 million. euros. Lithuania’s military support provided in 2023 consists of transferred military equipment and machinery, training of soldiers, treatment and rehabilitation of soldiers, contributions to international funds.

A. Anušauskas also had a bilateral meeting with Swedish Defense Minister Pal Jonson in Ramstein. Sweden’s accession to the NATO importance, Sweden is invited to contribute to Airspace of the Baltic States defense initiatives, announced by the Ministry of Defense.
