Maldeikienė joined the conservative party

“On Friday, the meeting of Vilnius Šeškinė was held and Aušra Maldeikienė became a member of the Homeland Union – Lithuanian Christian Democratic Party,” M. Prievelis told Elta.

A. Maldeikienė is a former member of the Seimas and the current representative of Lithuania in the European Parliament. A. Maldeikienė was elected to the Seimas in 2016-2020. term, and in 2019 won a mandate to the European Parliament with the public election committee and became one of the 11 members of the European Parliament elected in Lithuania.

In the European Parliament, she joined the European People’s Party (Christian Democrats) (EPP) group.
