On April 26, at 11:52 a.m., the wail of warning sirens will be heard in Lithuania. At that time, the Department of Fire Protection and Rescue under the Ministry of the Interior will begin an inspection of the public warning system. Sirens will wail for 3 minutes. After they stopped howling, at 11 o’clock 55 minutes, during the first and second programs of Lithuanian Radio (in addition, in Kaunas and Marijampole counties, through the local radio stations “Pūkas”, “Tau”, “Kelyje” and “Kapsai”), relevant information will be announced to residents. Upon hearing the sirens, residents must immediately turn on the radio or television and listen to the information and act according to the recommendations.
