A public meeting on “Investments in real estate in Azerbaijan” was held in Moscow.
According to the information provided by the Russian bureau of “Report”, representatives of the Ministry of Economy, State Tourism Agency, Azerbaijan Tourism Bureau, large Russian construction companies and international consulting companies participated in the event jointly organized by “Agalarov Development” company and “RBK Nedvijimost”.
Speaking at the event, Chairman of the State Tourism Agency, Fuad Nagiyev, said that important work is being done for the development of the tourism industry in our country on the instructions of the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev. F. Nagiyev noted that currently the share of the tourism sector in Azerbaijan’s GDP has increased to 2.3 percent, and 1.7 million foreign tourists visited our country within 10 months of this year. The chairman of the State Tourism Agency gave detailed information about the conditions created for investors in Azerbaijan.
Head of “Agalarov Development” company Emin Agalarov said that investors’ interest in Azerbaijan is increasing in Russia as well as in many countries of the world. “Azerbaijan’s economy is developing rapidly. In addition, Azerbaijan is a country with a rich history and culture”, said E. Agalarov. He informed about the “Sea Breeze Resort” resort complex on the Caspian coast. Emphasizing that Azerbaijan is an attractive country both in terms of tourism and investment, E. Agalarov drew attention to the tourism and investment potential of the liberated territories.
The head of the foreign real estate department of “NF Group” Anna Larina, the representative of “B1” group of companies Ilya Sukharnikov, the representative of “AZAL” JSC in Russia Tariyel Tahirov and others spoke and discussed the economic relations between Azerbaijan and Russia, including real estate and they talked about the prospects of cooperation in the field of tourism.
Political and economic conditions for real estate investments in Azerbaijan and other topics were discussed at the event.
