“Azerbaijan and Georgia are friendly and partner countries.”
Georgian Deputy Minister of Defense Giorgi Khaindrava said this in a statement to the local bureau of “Report” on November 22 in Tbilisi after talks with Deputy Ministers of Defense of Azerbaijan – Director General Agil Gurbanov and Air Force Commander Lieutenant General Ramiz Tahirov.
According to him, Azerbaijan and Georgia are working to strengthen the region:
“We have had friendly and partnership relations between our countries for many years. Our relations are expanding day by day. Today, we introduced our Azerbaijani colleagues to the “Delta” State Military Scientific and Technical Center. We informed them about the weapons and equipment we produce.”
It should be noted that A. Gurbanov and R. Tahirov met with the Deputy Minister of Defense of Georgia Giorgi Khaindrava and the Commander of the Defense Forces, Major General Giorgi Matiashvili.
At the meeting held at the Ministry of Defense, further expansion of cooperation in the fields of military, military technical, military education and a number of issues of mutual interest were discussed.
