“Report” informs that the head of state said this on November 22 when he received Leo Dockerty, Deputy Secretary of State for Parliamentary Relations and Minister of State for Europe and North America at the Foreign Affairs, Commonwealth and Development Office of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
Ilham Aliyev noted that our economic relations began with cooperation in the field of energy, and that cooperation with the BP company has been effective and based on mutual trust for many years.
The head of state emphasized that the BP company’s operation in Azerbaijan many years ago played an important role in the economic development of our country and the implementation of investment projects in our republic.
Ilham Aliyev said that currently Azerbaijan-BP cooperation has entered a new stage in the field of renewable energy and said that this is a very good example for the region.
