Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov met with Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Hessein Brahim Taha, who is visiting our country.
“Report” was informed about this by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
It was reported that the current cooperation agenda and prospects of relations between Azerbaijan and the OIC, preparation issues for the OIC Summit next year and other high-level events, as well as our country’s plans in this context, as well as the current situation in the region, were discussed at the meeting.
J. Bayramov emphasized with satisfaction the close cooperation relations established with the organization. It was noted that the opening of the organization’s Labor Center in Baku within the framework of the 5th conference of labor ministers of the member states of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) in Baku by the Secretary General will further advance relations within the organization.
It was pointed out that the joint work to be carried out will serve to expand the cooperation of the member countries in the field of labor, employment, social protection and human capital development.
During the meeting, opinions were also exchanged on other issues of mutual interest.
