“Report” informs that this was said by the official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia Maria Zakharova while answering the question of “News.ru”.
According to him, there is a risk of relapse in the South Caucasus region: “In this regard, Russia is working on turning the region into a stability zone based on the balance of interests of all regional countries and their neighbors. Using this logic, we establish mutual activity within the framework of the “3+3″ platform.”
He noted that the West ignores the interests of the countries of the region and tries to turn the South Caucasus into a field of geopolitical conflict: “They are not doing anything to ensure the security, stability and prosperity of this region.”
