Hidayat Azimov appointed Deputy Minister of Defense Industry

By order of President Ilham Aliyev, Hidayat Azimov has been appointed Deputy Minister of Defense Industry of the country, the Ministry said.

The day before, the head of state dismissed Yahya Musayev from the post of Deputy Minister of Defense Industry.

Recall that two months ago, the head of state also replaced the head of the Ministry of Defense Industry, appointing Vugar Mustafayev to this position instead of Madat Guliyev.

Note that Azimov was born in 1985 in Baku. He graduated from the law faculty of Baku State University. He worked in various law firms, was Deputy Chairman of the Board of the «Atəşgah» insurance company. In 2018-2022, he headed the legal service of the international company «Ernst&Young CIS B.V» in Azerbaijan. Since 2022, he served as deputy chairman of the board of the State Reserves Agency. Since 2018, he has been a member of the bar association.
