Special quarantine regime in Azerbaijan extended until July 1, 2024

In Azerbaijan, the special quarantine regime has been extended until 06:00 on July 1, 2024. On 11 March, Prime Minister Ali Assadov signed an appropriate relevant resolution.

Special quarantine regime due to the COVID-19 pandemic was introduced in Azerbaijan in March 2020.

Note that the government provides no explanation for the extension of the quarantine regime, whereas WHO abolished the pandemic a year ago.

Today, only one restriction remains in force: the closure of land borders with neighbouring countries.
