Jonas Pinskus was re-elected as the chairman of the Party of Regions

J. Pinskus remains the leader of the party after MP Andriis Palioniis and Mayor of Širvintos District Municipality Živila Pinskuviena refused to participate in the elections. They urged Mr. Pinskas to continue the work he had started, in anticipation of the European Parliament, Seimas and presidential elections next year.

“There are three elections in the next year. As party chairman, it will be very important for all of us to achieve results. (…) We must become a parliamentary party, perform well in the European Parliament and presidential elections”, the re-elected party leader told fellow party members at the convention.

In the speech delivered earlier at the convention, J. Pinskus emphasized that Party of Regions will be better prepared than ever for the next three elections in Lithuania, has significantly improved its financial situation, and the number of party members is also consistently growing.

According to him, there are already 5.8 thousand members in the party. members, 2024 in the elections, it will dispose of approximately 273 thousand. euro budget.

“We will be much more prepared for the next election marathon than before,” said J. Pinskus.

Currently, the Party of Regions of Lithuania is represented in the parliament by two members of the Seimas – J. Pinskus and A. Palionis.
