Conservative Džiugelis will take part in the European Parliament elections

The politician made his announcement about this on Sunday facebook in the account.

“I was nominated by 40 departments out of 51 participants. Politics is not a series to intrigue with “see you in the next episode” erzuli by delaying straight answers to specific questions. Today I can say that I have decided to run for the European Parliament in June”, wrote J. Džiugelis.

ELTA reminds that on Sunday TS-LKD departments finished nominating candidates for the presidential and EP elections.

It is announced that a total of 70 candidates have been proposed for the EP elections. Current MEPs received the most support Andrius Kubilius, Rasa Juknevičienė, Liuds Mažylis. More than 20 branches of the party put forward the candidacy of Radvilė Morkūnaitė-Mikulėnienė, and also propose Paulias Saudargas, Monika Navickienė, Laurynas Kasčiūnas, Gabrielias Landsbergis, Arvydas Anušauskas, Audroniis Ažubalis, and Gintarė Skaistė to the lists.
