Great quantity of ammunition and artillery shells discovered in Khojaly

During engineering reconnaissance of the territory in the Karabakh region, a significant number of boxes of ammunition and artillery shells belonging to the Armenian Armed Forces and illegal Armenian armed formations were discovered, the Azerbaijani Defence Ministry reported today.

The ammunition and shells discovered in Khojaly region were seized by engineering and sapre units of the Azerbaijani Army.

“Work on detection and neutralization of mines and unexploded ordnance is ongoing in the liberated territories, other appropriate engineering activities are also underway,” the press release further noted.
