The National Security Commission (NSK) proposes to prohibit Lithuanian citizens who have the right to work with restricted or classified information from traveling to the relevant foreign countries. According to Vilmantas Vitkauskas, head of the National Crisis Management Center (NKVC), a specific list of countries to which travel is prohibited will be compiled by the Department of State Security (VSD) and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (URM). However, for that, he noted, by-laws need to be changed.
