6 million 334, 444 voters to vote in Parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan

In the early elections to the Milli Majlis on September 1, voting will be organized at more than 6,400 polling stations in 125 electoral districts. This was announced by the head of the Central Election Commission of Azerbaijan Mazakhir Panakhov at a meeting with heads of the district election commissions today.

He emphasized the rise in the number of polling stations in the territories liberated from the Armenian occupation, where parliamentary elections are being held for the first time.

In turn, the assistant to the President of Azerbaijan for territorial and organizational issues, Zeynal Nagdaliyev, said that 8 more polling stations have been created in the liberated territories and their total number grown to 26. He added that according to the latest data on June 28, the number of Azerbaijani citizens with the right to vote is 6 million 334, 444.
