Azerbaijan confirms 583 new COVID-19 cases, seven deaths

Azerbaijan has confirmed 583 new coronavirus cases, as of July 3, Ramin Bayramli, Chairman of TABIB Board, told a briefing of the Task Force under the Cabinet of Ministers.

According to him, while seven coronavirus patients passed away. 

So far, a total of  10 820 patients have survived the disease, while 235 others died. The treatment of 8 212 people is underway.  

Today, a total of 7 137 coronavirus tests have been conducted across the country.

Notably, Azerbaijan extended the special quarantine regime in Azerbaijan, and its coverage expanded to prevent the further spread of coronavirus and minimize the possible consequences.

The special quarantine regime will last from 06:00 (GMT+4) July 5 through 06:00 July 20.
