On Wednesday, there will be few clouds, and the clouds that appear in many areas of the country will be thin, upper-level, so they will let in a lot of heat from the sun – during the day, the air temperature will reach 22-27 degrees, the southwestern regions of Lithuania will be the warmest, while it will be cooler near the sea. The wind will be weak, 4-9 m/s, mainly southeast.
The night from Wednesday to Thursday will be dry and warm. The prevailing wind will be southeast, south direction, 3-8 m/s, it will cool down to 10-15 degrees in the coldest hours of the morning – for the third decade of September, this is an unusually high night air temperature.
Daytime temperatures will not drop in this regard either – in most of the country on Wednesday it will warm up to 21-26 degrees.
On Friday we will meet with short rains, most of them will fall in the western districts. The wind will still blow from the south, at night 4-9 m/s, during the day it will increase to 6-11 m/s. As in the previous days, the night will be particularly warm, around 11-16 degrees, and during the day the thermometer will rise to 20-25 degrees with a somewhat cooler coastal stretch.
