The incident at the Šiauliai high school reached its climax: the behavior of the parents of the teenager who beat the teacher is particularly surprising

After the incident at the school, when a fourteen-year-old boy beat his teacher during the lesson, 36 pedagogues appealed to the head of the gymnasium and the municipality of Šiauliai. They demand the appointment of a lawyer for the injured teacher, and refuse to work with the raging teenager.

“Their request is legitimate. Of course, it’s dangerous for every teacher to work with a student who behaves like this, and it’s dangerous for students to learn together, because he also poses a danger”, – the director of the high school Vytautas Kantauskas did not try to hide the drama of the situation.

In their letter, the teachers indicated that they felt very insecure because they repeatedly experienced insulting, insulting or aggressive behavior from this fourteen-year-old. He threw eggs at the windows, and hung around the younger children of the gymnasium

“He studied with us for two and a half weeks and during that period we recorded 12 different offenses,” said the director.

Both the allegations of the beating of the teacher and the injury of the teenager are still being investigated by the police. The teacher, who was examined in the hospital and discharged home for treatment, is still unable to work.

“At the moment, the circumstances are still being clarified, the officials have 10 days for this process, they will end in the near future and two procedural decisions will be made,” said the chief specialist of the Šiauliai County VPK Gailutė Smagriūnienė.

While the police are gathering evidence, the work has begun Child Welfare Commission, this aggressive student will likely be assigned distance learning this week. Now he does not attend high school, they say, because of illness.

“The decision, of course, will be made that he should not return to the gymnasium to study live. We don’t have the right to throw it out yet, but we have the right to change the form and we will use it,” V. Kantauskas assured.

Even several different institutions are interested in this exceptional case. Up to the age of 16, education must be ensured, but the safety of those around you must also be ensured. The head of the school can decide on the allocation of further education.

Representatives of the municipality greatly expect the cooperation of parents, as they are responsible for a young person who is not of legal age.

Unfortunately, according to the head of the educational institution, the family is not inclined to cooperate. “The father simply cynically encourages the student, his son, to behave in this way, he defends him in every way and with that defense he mentions all the rules, all the rights of others and he does it with a smile and pride,” said the director.

Not only teachers refuse to work with this student, children also do not want to study with him. The parents of high school students gave an ultimatum to the management, who said that they would not let their children go to school if the fourteen-year-old who poses a threat continues to study there.

As we wrote earlier, classmates filmed the student attacking the teacher, punching him in the face and then punching him in the stomach.

The 14-year-old was apparently thrown into a rage when the teacher took his phone. “Standed up, cut the frame, asked for the phone back twice, the teacher didn’t give it back, grabbed his sweater, asked again, didn’t give it back and started a fight,” said students who were in the same class.

In the video, another student rushes to the teacher’s aid, and others encourage them to end the fight with screams.

Another video captures the fourteen-year-old’s behavior just before the conflict. He without any reason, turning on the loudspeaker, calls the General emergency number 112 and brags about beating up a classmate. “The teacher asked me to put the phone down maybe three or four times,” the witnesses said.

The students said that this student is conflicted, he caused fear in those around him in his previous schools as well. “He likes to attack children, he was a menace to society and children feared him. He jumped in front of the teachers, threw eggs at the teachers’ offices, sneaked up to the first-graders,” the fourteen-year-old’s classmates said.
