Teymur Kerimov

The head of Kanal-11 internet television, Teymur Kerimov, has been detained by police officers.

According to “Qafqazinfo,” a criminal case was initiated against Teymur Kerimov under Article 182 of the Criminal Code (Extortion by Threats) on December 11, based on several complaints from citizens. Investigation actions are currently underway.

The information has been confirmed by the Press Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

By the decision of the Narimanov District Court, a pre-trial detention of four months has been imposed on Teymur Kerimov.
