Azerbaijan announces demographic situation | Report.az

The demographic situation of the population in Azerbaijan has been declared, Report says.

According to the State Statistics Committee, the country’s residents increased by 33,514 people (0.3%) from the beginning of the year and reached 10,100,622 as of August 1.

52.8% of the total population is urban, 47.2% -rural, 49.9% -men, and 50.1% -women. The population per square kilometer was 117 people.
