Navalny posts first photo after coma

Blogger Alexei Navalny, who is in the Berlin clinic Charite, posted on his Instagram the first photo after coming out of a coma saying that he could breathe all day on his own yesterday, Report informs.

“I still can hardly do anything, but yesterday I could breathe on my own all day. I didn’t use any outside help, even the simplest valve in my throat,” he wrote.

On the morning of August 20, Alexei Navalny was returning to Moscow from Tomsk. During the flight, the politician became ill because the plane made an emergency landing in Omsk. The Russian oppositionist was hospitalized in serious condition.

On August 21, doctors at the Omsk hospital allowed Navalny to be transported to Germany.

On September 14, the Charite clinic reported that Navalny’s condition improved; he was disconnected from the ventilator.

According to Berlin, the studies have revealed a substance from the Novichok group in Navalny.
