Rashad Nabiyev: “This year will be important for AZAL, Azerbaijan Railways”

“This year will be an important year for both Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL) and Azerbaijan Railways,” Digital Development and Transport Minister Rashad Nabiyev said in an interview with Public TV, Report informs.

According to him, it is planned to establish transformation offices in these companies. The minister said that this work will be planned to start from January.

“One of the most important issues for the population is the effective work of Azerbaijan Airlines, as well as Azerbaijan Railways. I would like to note that foreign consulting companies have developed strategies and Action Plans based on the strategies of these organizations for the next five years. The main task of the Transformation Office is to ensure the operation in accordance with this strategy.”

Digital Development and Transport Minister Rashad Nabiyev is the chairman of the Supervisory Board of AZAL, as well as Azerbaijan Railways.
