Over 3,300 weapons stolen in Kazakhstan during riots

In Kazakhstan, during the January events, 3,388 weapons were stolen from the arsenals of law enforcement agencies and hunting shops, of which a third have so far been found, Report informs that the presidential press service reported with reference to the data of the Prosecutor-General’s Office.

“In total, during the January events, 3,388 weapons were stolen, including 1,629 guns from 10 hunting shops. Of this volume, a third, or 967 units, were found. The search and seizure of weapons continues, investigations are underway on all cases,” the statement says.
