Couriers gathered near the Koroglu metro station and started marching towards the city center.
The couriers said that the company has reduced their service fees, that’s why they started the boycott.
According to the couriers gathered under the bridge located near the Koroglu subway, it is not profitable to work with the current tariffs. “The basic price is 1.5 manat, and there is no charge for up to 500 meters. Couriers have started mass boycott since yesterday. Couriers noted that there are acquaintances who cooperate with Wolt company abroad, and there is no change in their service fees. “Wolt is an international company and the changes should apply to everyone, but for some reason it applies to couriers working in Azerbaijan.”
They said that the couriers decided not to go to work until the tariffs are calculated according to the old rules.
The couriers said that after the mass boycott that started yesterday, several people were suspended from work, and several people were Baku City Chief Police They invited him to his office. “But we will not go to work until our demands are met.”
