The defense filed an appeal against the arrest of investigative journalist Hafiz Babali
Baku/15.12.23/Turan: Today, lawyer Rasul Jafarov filed an appeal against the arrest of investigative journalist Hafiz Babalan. The lawyer himself told Turan about this.
He noted that the complaint will be considered next week.
On December 13, Hafiz Babaly, the editor of Turan agency’s economics department, was detained on charges of “foreign currency smuggling”. He was involved in the case of Abzas Media journalists.
On December 14, the Khatai District Court made a decision on the preliminary arrest of Hafiz Babali for a period of 3 months. – 06B
